Government of Morotai, North Maluku, expressed its readiness for implementation of Morotai Sail 2012. These comments were made in the event the Pre-Event Morotai Sail 2012 in Hotel Le Meridien, Jakarta. Morotai Sail 2012 is a series of activities. Activities that are already established and Sail Sail Bunaken 2009, Banda 2010. In 2011, this event will be held at the Pacific Islands and Wakatobi.

According to the Head of Bappeda Pemkab Morotai Island, Muhlis Baay, Morotai election as a continuation of Sail Indonesia is a central government plan.
