Kamchatka Volcanoes are situated in far eastern Russia, which are lies between the Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea. This wilderness area only has less than two people per square mile. They depend on fishing and forestry for living. And now, the tourism industry has recently sprung up in this frigid outpost. You can go hiking, camping, and climbing to the crater tops of several volcanoes.
Kamchatka has many volcanoes per square, because of the Pacific Ocean plate movement. There are about 160 volcanoes in lines that stretch towards Japan, and 30 of them is still active. Three volcanoes that usually visited the most by tourist are Koryaksky, Avacha, and Kozelsky, because of their close proximity to Petropavlovsk. The Klyuchevskaya Sopka, at almost 16,000 feet, is the tallest, and Karimsky, erupting for the last 13 years, is the most active. From the Mutnovsky, you can see the glacier, geysers, and boiling mud. The experience of seeing the beauty in a small area is amazing, especcially when you see the eccentric volcanoes, the elements of nature, and the dazzling array of wildlife.
