And if it is about tradition and culture off course it’s about the custom and its dance. There are three dances you must see when you visit Bali. Not seeing the three of them means that your days in Bali are not complete yet. The three of them is Sanghyang dance – Trance Dance – Kecak Dance and Fire Dance.

Sanghyang Dance is a traditional dance performed as an exorcism to promote peace and health within the village. Then Kecak Dance is a dance performed by a large group consists of 50 men who dance in circle around blazing bamboo torches. This dance is kind of dramatic dance in which it takes the story from Hindu epic, Ramayana and tells the story the rescuing attempt of Prince Rama saved his wife, Sita from the clutch of the evil King of Lanka, Rahwana. The chorus of men, who provide the orchestral accompaniment with complex and varied chants that company their swaying movements. The only music to accompany them is the beats of their palms hitting their chests, their thighs, or other parts of their bodies, or their claps, rhythmically accompanied by shouting and chanting. Flickering torches provide lighting and an enchanting atmosphere. The last is Fire Dance. This dance brought its dancer becomes entranced and is able to dance on hot coals without feeling pain.
